34968 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Space: When was she informed that MethaneSAT lost contact with the satellite?

Hon Judith Collins: My Office and I were provided a verbal update from officials on 25 June and a follow-up on 30 June. MethaneSAT LLC in the U.S. released their official statement confirming the loss of contact on 2 July. A written weekly report update covering this was provided on 9 July 2025.
