34959 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 4696 (2025), has Oranga Tamariki had any discussions with potential providers regarding involvement in future military-style academies now that the pilot and its evaluation are complete; if so, who and on what dates?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that while some existing and potential providers have expressed an interest in being involved in future Military-Style Academy programmes, Oranga Tamariki has not entered into specific discussions about their involvement at this point.
