34923 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 19663 (2026), what is the nature of the Government and external supports that whānau of the participants on the second Oranga Tamariki military-style academy are recieving, if any?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that a whānau support programme operates as part of the Military-Style Academy programme. This programme, led by Oranga Tamariki social workers, is intended to assess whānau needs and provide supports where required, which may be sourced from a range of providers and government agencies.
