Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for Energy: Further to Reply 31289, did officials from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment engage with any external parties regarding the Budget 2025 initiative titled 'Gas Security of Supply Tagged Contingencies", if so, please list by who was engaged with and date of engagement?

Hon Shane Jones: As is typical for Budget Sensitive initiatives, there was no engagement with external parties on this initiative prior to its announcement. There were general meetings discussing the policy challenges of gas supply with the sector, but this initiative was not discussed.
