34850 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, expressions of interest have been lodged with the Charter School Agency by state or state-integrated schools wanting to convert to a charter school for 2026?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Charter Schools Agency that six expressions of interest (EOI) were received in the first 2025 round for converting schools. One EOI was submitted in the second round, which closed on 16 July, bringing the total number of EOI’s for 2025 to seven.
