Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: On what date and time, if at all, did he raise his concerns about the Regulations Minister‘s response to United Nations special rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples letter concerning the Regulatory Standards Bill with the Prime Minister and what was the Prime Minister‘s response?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I raised concerns with the Prime Minister on 13 July 2025, after returning from international travel. The Prime Minister agreed that Minister Seymour had not followed proper process.
