34820 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: What is the estimated number of people experiencing homelessness in Rotorua, according to the June 2025 Homelessness Insights Report, including any breakdowns by type of homelessness and any comparison to the previous report?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Homelessness Insights Report does not include any estimated figures of the number of people homeless in Rotorua. It does, however, include a map of Aotearoa New Zealand depicting 2023 Census Severe Housing Deprivation estimates of those living without shelter. The Rotorua District estimate for the number of people living without shelter was 72 for 2023.
