34812 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: Further to response 32788 (2005), what work, if any, is currently underway or has been completed to update Wāhine: E Rere Ana Ki te Pae Hou beyond 2025?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Wāhine – e rere ana ki te pae hou, Corrections’ Women’s Strategy, is currently in the process of being refreshed. This refresh has involved engaging with 440 internal and external stakeholders, including prison staff and management. I am further advised that the refreshed strategy is expected to be finalised later this year.
