34806 (2025). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: In the decisions made to review the $1.7m funding available with Safe Strong Families and end contracts, was the presence of contract duplication a factor, and if so, which services were being duplicated?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that contract duplication of any individual service was not a factor in the decision to review this funding and decommission these services.
