Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: What public engagement surveys, if any, are planned or currently underway regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: As this relates to a shared service provided to the Office of Treaty Settlements and Takutai Moana-Te Tari Whakatau by the Ministry of Justice, and there is no further relevant information, I refer the Member to my reply in WPQ 34767 (2026). The Ngāpuhi Investment Fund Limited has no public engagement surveys planned or currently underway regarding the use of artificial intelligence.
