34781 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Housing: What undeveloped Kainga Ora sites in Palmerston North, if any, are listed for divestment?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to the attached table provided by Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities. Kāinga Ora further advises me that its ‘undeveloped sites’ encompass the following categories: - Vacant land; - Vacant land with existing homes not used or no longer used for social housing; and - Proposed social housing sites that Kāinga Ora was planning to redevelop, that are now not being developed. This is also my response for WPQ 34782 (2025).
