34451 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How much has NZTA spent to date on the development and procurement of the Warkworth to Te Hana project, broken down by internal costs and external legal, financial, technical and probity advisers, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZTA has spent a total of $98 million on external professional services costs associated with the development and procurement of the Warkworth to Te Hana project. This includes: - $27.7 million in legal services and advice - $7 million in financial services - $42.8 in technical services (primarily geotechnical investigations) - $0.5m in probity services and advice.
