34393 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What advice, if any, has he received on NZTA's performance of its regulatory functions since becoming Minister of Transport, and from whom?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Transport and (since 1 July 2026) the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport have provided me with regular advice on the performance of NZTA's regulatory functions, as my Crown entity monitoring department.
