34356 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What advice or reporting, if any, has he received from the NZTA board or its chair on rising cost estimates for Roads of National Significance projects, and on what dates?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZTA Board decisions to reprogramme the RoNS programme were made on 15 May 2026, reflecting updated revenue forecasts, funding constraints, and revised cost estimates across the programme. These decisions subsequently informed advice provided to the Minister and 9 July 2026 announcement.
