Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) between 7-11 July 2025: • Mayors’ and Chairs’ replies to ministerial letter on local flood management that includes the draft letters, 9 July 2025 • 2025.07.9 Status Report to the Minister for EM and Recovery, 9 July 2025 • Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet Estimates Examination 2025/26 Draft Post-hearing Questionnaire, 10 July 2025. I also received two documents within the specified timeframe. It is not in the public interest to release the titles of these papers. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
