34292 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, opening on the week beginning Monday 5 July with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what is the proposed net change in roles?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Transport had no consultations were open with employees on the week beginning 05 July 2025. I am advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi commenced a consultation process with its Talent team in the week commencing 5 July 2025. The proposal, if accepted in full, reduces FTEs by 2.
