34279 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: How, if at all, is AI profiling and/or facial recognition used in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The Sport Integrity Commission does not use AI profiling or facial recognition. Sport New Zealand are not currently, nor have any planning underway, to implement AI profiling and/or AI based facial recognition.
