34249 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How many roles, if any, in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have been replaced by AI services, since 1 January 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that no roles have been replaced with AI services at the Ministry or Health New Zealand since 1 January 2025. However, as the Member will be aware, enabling the use of innovative artificial intelligence technologies to improve public services is a priority for our Government.
