34240 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: What algorithm impact assessments, if any, have been done in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Nicola Grigg: The Ministry for the Environment did not undertake any algorithm impact assessments between 27 November 2023 and 30 June 2026. The Environmental Protection Authority has also not undertaken any algorithm impact assessments. I am not responsible for any other departments, agencies, Crown entities, or other bodies. The Member may be aware that I was previously responsible for the Ministry for the Environment. That responsibility ended when the Ministry for the Environment merged into the new Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) on 1 July 2026. Responsibility for MCERT now sits with the Minister responsible for RMA Reform.
