34225 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology: What algorithm impact assessments, if any, have been done in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Penny Simmonds: As Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology, I have no responsibility for any government departments. With regard to agencies, Crown entities, and other bodies within the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio, I am advised that no algorithm impact assessments have been undertaken, other than assessments completed by Callaghan Innovation in relation to the use of Microsoft Copilot Pro by limited number of staff.
