34225 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: What items of secondary legislation, if any, listed by title, are administered by the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer member to the attached document lists of secondary legislation by title administered by the Ministry of Transport. The list includes substantive rules as amended. It does not include amendment rules, or exemptions. These include rules developed by the Civil Aviation Authority, Maritime New Zealand and the New Zealand Transport Authority. I am also advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) administers a range of secondary legislation in the form of Land Transport Rules, Class Exemptions and State Highway Bylaws.
