34223 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Disability Issues: How, if at all, is AI profiling and/or facial recognition used in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised AI profiling and/or facial recognition is not used by the Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha. Regarding the Ministry of Social Development, I refer the member to written question 34175 (2025).
