34157 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence: How, if at all, is AI profiling and/or facial recognition used in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Karen Chhour: The business unit is hosted by the Ministry of Justice, which is the servicing department for the Executive Board for the Elimination of Family Violence and Sexual Violence. The Ministry provides staff with laptops and phones that use biometric information for secure log in. I refer the Member to WPQ 34113 (2025) for more information.
