Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: What procurement process, if any, was used for purchasing artificial intelligence tools, if any, currently being used within the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: As this relates to a shared service provided to the Office of Treaty Settlements and Takutai Moana-Te Tari Whakatau by the Ministry of Justice, and there is no further relevant information, I refer the Member to my reply in WPQ 34091 (2026). The Ngāpuhi Investment Fund Limited has not purchased artificial intelligence tools.
