34124 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Investment: What automated approvals, if any, are currently operating within the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that the Social Investment Agency does not currently operate any automated approval processes where approval decisions are made without human involvement. While some Ministry of Social Development-hosted corporate systems used by SIA contain workflow functions that route requests to delegated approvers, all approval decisions are made by authorised personnel.
