34045 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What land packages, if any, has Kāinga Ora decided to sell in the Auckland region during 2026/27 and for each, will a tender process be used to identify a sales agent?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that information on any land packages it has decided to sell in the Auckland region in FY27 will be made public when those are formally brought to market. Releasing information on when exactly Kāinga Ora will take certain sites to market before the sites are listed could prejudice the commercial position of Kāinga Ora. Decisions regarding the engagement of real estate agents are made on a site-by-site basis. Kāinga Ora will follow its procurement policy and the appropriate procurement process when determining how a supplier is sourced.
