34022 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, opening on the week beginning Monday 5 July with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what is the proposed net change in roles?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that consultation commenced on 9 July 2025 with the Health, Safety and Aviation Risk team around a proposal to disestablish two vacant roles and change reporting lines. Consultation closes 16 July 2025 with the intention to have a decision by 22 July 2025. There are no staff impacted by the proposal.
