Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Children: What procurement process, if any, was used for purchasing artificial intelligence tools, if any, currently being used within the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki utilises artificial intelligence tools contained within the general technology suite for the Ministry. I am further advised that the technology suite was procured under the Department of Internal Affair’s All-of-Government negotiated contracts.
