Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: The attached table sets out the average cost per trip provided by the VIP Transport service in each of the last financial years. These figures represent the cost charged to a Minister's office for trips. The average cost per trip has been calculated using the direct operational costs attributed to point-to-point trips undertaken by VIP Transport, together with the costs of trips delivered by approved third-party transport providers where these were used to meet service demand.
