33919 (2026). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services: On how many occasions, if any, in each of the last three financial years was use of a Crown VIP vehicle identified as non-ministerial, broken down by financial year and by the outcome in each case?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Under clause 2.1 of the Ministers Travel Services within New Zealand Determination 2023, a Minister may use a chauffeur-driven car arranged by VIP Transport at any time for any purpose, at the Minister’s discretion. Regarding the purpose or categories Crown VIP vehicle use, I refer the member to reply 33918 (2026).
