Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister of Conservation: When did the Department of Conservation first request information from OceanaGold about how the company would manage the relocation of lizards at the Macraes gold mine and when did the company provide the information requested?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises it first requested information about the Lizard Relocation Plan in February 2024. Further requests for information were then made as OceanaGold provided updated versions of the plan; with the latest version being supplied to the Department on 29 July 2024.
