33874 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, charter school applications were lodged for the month of June 2025; listed by number of applications and whether they are applying to be new Charter Schools or converted Charter Schools?

Hon David Seymour: In May 2025, applications were lodged as part of the current round. A total of 52 applications for new Charter Schools went to the Authorisation Board in June. Applications from converting schools were also received, with six expressions of interest from state or state-integrated schools resulting in two applications going to the Board in June.
