Camilla Belich to the Minister of Health: Further to reply 9833 (2026), which cited page 275 of Health New Zealand's Annual Report 2024/25, how many severance payments were disclosed in that report, and how was that figure compiled if redundancy information is not held in a consolidated format?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that cessation payment information for the Health New Zealand Annual Report is compiled manually from the 27 payroll systems and associated HR records used across Health New Zealand. The Annual Report figure captures several types of information, including severance payments, and the information is not maintained in a single consolidated format that would allow severance figures to be split out in the way requested.
