33762 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Local Government

33762 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Local Government: Since November 2025, how many people, if any, have written to the Minister with a complaint about non-elected members on Council committees, broken down into months?

Hon Simon Watts: I receive a large volume of correspondence relating to local government and do not maintain a record of correspondence by specific topic. As a result, answering your question would require a manual review of all relevant correspondence. This would involve a significant amount of time, and I do not consider it to be in the public interest.
