33728 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: How much, if any, of the $1.7 billion funding envelope has been committed or contractually obligated as at 24 July 2026, and how much remains uncommitted?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: It is not possible to provide an “as at 24 July 2026” to suit the whims of a written parliamentary question. Ferry Holdings discloses its contractual commitments where required through its public reporting. If specific numbers such as this are desired, then the member’s request can be considered under the Official Information Act.
