Camilla Belich to the Minister of Health: What ministries, departments or agencies, for which the Minister is responsible, if any, participated in Associate Minister of Finance’s public service savings drive that resulted in $115 million in reductions, and how much, if anything, did each contribute to those reductions?

Hon Simeon Brown: As part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, we have prioritised finding efficiencies within our health agencies to ensure a tight focus on the delivery of frontline care. I am advised that the Ministry and Health New Zealand did not participate in the Associate Minister of Finance's public service savings drive.
