33554 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: When was the state house at 132 Bayswater Ave, Bayswater, Auckland built and what characteristics of this property made it suitable for Kāinga Ora's state house sales programme?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that this home and its semi-detached neighbour at 134 Bayswater Ave, was built in 1948. The property met the divestment criteria of being of unfit for purpose as it was nearing the end of its life. It was considered for redevelopment but has infrastructure capacity constraints. This is also my response to question 33555 (2026).
