Hon James Meager: I am advised that CAA commissioned an independent review of its recruitment structure in 2023, resulting in several recommendations which include: • Forming a dedicated recruitment team led by an experienced recruitment manager with clarity on roles and responsibilities • Reviewing and strengthening CAA’s Recruitment and Selection policy • Developing candidate screening and suitability criteria, assessment, record keeping and decision-making processes to meet Protective Security Requirements • Providing training support, tools, and resources for hiring managers and recruitment advisors; and • Adopting technology to support best practice recruitment processes, candidate care and reporting
