Hon James Meager: I am advised by CAA that it does not undertake ideological audits of staff, as such actions would raise significant privacy concerns and fall outside established employment and human rights frameworks. However, all staff are expected to uphold Te Kawa Mataaho’s Standards of Integrity and Conduct and the values of integrity, accountability, and neutrality. Roles requiring security clearance are subject to vetting, and any allegations or conduct concerns relating to extremism or discriminatory behaviour are taken seriously and managed through appropriate internal processes.
