33489 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Which Roads of National Significance or other major transport projects, if any, does NZTA intend to dispose of, offer back, or cease acquiring land for as a result of the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline?

Hon Chris Bishop: East West Link – As a result of the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline, NZTA is progressing the withdrawal of the existing Notice of Requirement for a designation of land. Once the Notice of Requirement has been withdrawn, NZTA will review properties it owns on the corridor and, where appropriate, consider them for disposal in accordance with statutory requirements.
