33405 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 21044 (2025), why were no new enabling community prototype partnerships set-up between 1 May 2024 and 30 April 2025?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that the Enabling Communities programme is in a testing phase with existing partners until 30 June 2026. Following this phase, Oranga Tamariki will make investment and scale-up decisions based on the evaluations and outcomes of the prototypes. I am further advised Oranga Tamariki will work with new partners as soon as current prototypes mature to a point where internal capacity can be released and reallocated to support other potential partners.
