33250 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What is the cost of funding all medicines on Pharmac's options for investment list if the most expensive drug is not funded?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that deducting the most expensive medicine from the cost of funding the entire Options for Investment list will disclose the net cost of that medicine. This type of disclosure will likely undermine the confidentiality of the future rebate and prejudice Pharmac's commercial interests.
