Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What are the titles of any advice from the Treasury he or his office received regarding the rapid build wards programme; if so, on what date(s), and did any of that advice identify risks relating to the Waikato, Wellington or Middlemore sites?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that correspondence my office receives is not categorised by topic. Accordingly, the information requested is not available in an easily reportable format. It would not be a good use of taxpayer-funded staff’s time - including those employed by the Ministry of Health and Health New Zealand who work in my office - to collate and organise by topic a list of all correspondence they have received. It would not be in the public interest to do so.
