33238 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Does he stand by the statement made by his office in late May 2026 to Stuff that Waikato rapid build ward was continuing to be delivered to the timeline announced in November 2025, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: Yes. As with any major infrastructure programme, timelines have been refined as planning has progressed and greater certainty has been established. I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 25704 (2026).
