33217 (2026). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for the Public Service and Digitising Government: Is the Government App Programme currently on schedule against milestones set at its inception, and if not, by how long has it slipped?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the govt.nz app programme has successfully delivered the app foundations, credential issuance, and digital wallet capabilities on schedule. The delivery of the secure messaging capability, originally scheduled for June 2026, has been deferred to December 2026.
