33213 (2026). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for the Public Service and Digitising Government: What uptake target, if any, has been set for the Govt.nz app, and is the app currently meeting that target?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The previous Minister for Digitising Government set a target of 2 million downloads of the govt.nz app by June 2028. I am advised that downloads are expected to increase as digital credentials are issued by both public sector and private sector organisations later in 2026.
