33207 (2026). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for the Public Service and Digitising Government: Has a Privacy Impact Assessment been completed for the Govt.nz app and digital wallet, and if so, will the Minister release it?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that a Privacy Impact Assessment was completed for the govt.nz app and a privacy statement was published on the New Zealand Government website at the following link: https://www.govt.nz/about/the-govt-nz-app/privacy/ The govt.nz app has also recently been accredited under the Digital Identity Services Trust Framework Act which included a robust review of its privacy controls.
