33186 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: Does the Minister of Local Government have full confidence in the process the Department of Internal Affairs used to assess councils' water services delivery plans, and on what basis?

Hon Simon Watts: Yes, on the basis that the process followed the requirements as set out in the Local Government (Water Services Preliminary Arrangements) Act 2024.
