33147 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister for Resources: What is the investment today by the government, if any, on offshore oil and gas exploration?

Hon Shane Jones: The Government has not made any direct investment in offshore oil and gas exploration at this time. It has established a $200 million Gas Security Fund to provide co-investment in a range of projects that will bring more gas to market.
