33130 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: How many deputy chief executive or equivalent roles, if any, are in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and what is the total number of employees in these departments, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for?
Hon Mark Mitchell: The Sport New Zealand Group does not have any deputy chief executive (or equivalent) roles. Sport NZ Group has six Group Managers and 1 Director High Performance Sport NZ who are direct reports to the Chief Executive. As at 30 June 2025, the total number of employees for the Sport New Zealand Group is 309.
The Sport Integrity Commission is currently transitioning to a new organisational structure. The new structure has 47 roles including the Chief Executive. The Commission will have four Tier 2 senior leadership roles in the new structure (one General Counsel and three Directors).
